This collaboration with Jessica Thorn Ceramics allows you to fully experience the joy of making, cooking, eating, sharing good food and enjoying the use of your own handmade pottery.
With one week of pottery and one week of pasta making and dining, this is definitely a workshop for the foodies out there.
Clay Week Friday 19th January
You will be introduced to three ceramic techniques making a slab built pasta bowl, a pinch pot olive bowl and a coil built grissini pot.
Using these three different pottery techniques, you will create your own set of ceramics ready for a pasta night of your dreams.
Once made you will decorate your pieces with coloured slip and use dried pasta as our tools to imprint and decorate your bowl.

Pasta week Friday 9th February
Discover how to prepare a perfect "pasta all'uovo" (egg pasta) and its filling from Emilia Romagna, to create your own tasty tortelli and tagliatelle.
You’ll learn about the regional origins of different types of pasta and how to adapt your own Italian recipes using local ingredients.
At the end of the experience, you’ll cook up your pasta and sit down to enjoy the meal you’ve made together in your own handmade ceramic pasta bowl. In this experience you’ll not only learn how to cook an Italian dish but also to discover the origins of this type of recipe and how it has transformed over time. You’ll leave with a full belly and the culinary and cultural knowledge to create your own Italian pasta dishes at home
